Mt Roland Range

 

 

Local Attractions

Mt Roland range - consists of Mt Roland (1234m), Mt Van Dyke (1084m) and Mt Claude (1034m). This group of mountains forms a natural amphitheatre, in the centre of which is Gowrie Park.

Cradle Mountain/Lake St.Clair National Park (40km). Cradle Mountain is visited by at least 30% of all visitors to the state.

Sheffield "Town of Murals" (15km). A unique township that has recorded its pioneer history through 27 murals on building walls in and around the town. Is visited by at least 20% of visitors to the state. There are many more murals in the surrounding district of Kentish.

Lake Barrington International Rowing Course. (12km) World class rowing facility as well as a beautiful place to enjoy nature, bushwalking, water skiing, swimming. Annual season of statewide regattas held here plus National Titles on a rotational basis.

Local attractions - maze complex, lavender farm, honey farm, emu ranch, deer farm, alpaca farm. (All within 10Km)

Deloraine, gateway to the Western Tiers range, which is to the southeast of Gowrie Park and is visited by at least 20% of visitors to the state.
